Mission: The Kappa Foundation of Akron strives to bring social and systematic changes needed to improve the outcomes and lives of young people in the underserved communities in Akron, Ohio and Summit County. The George C. Miller Scholarship was developed in honor of Brother George C. This scholarship provides financial assistance to high school graduates who plan to pursue college after high school. The Kappa Foundation of Akron has committed and distributed over $160,000 in scholarships for college since 1999.
